Hive Inspection Tracker
Track hive inspection with this free online tool
Hive Inspection Tracker
Track frame-by-frame hive inspection data, assess colony health, and get management recommendations for your beekeeping operation.
How to Use
- Select your hive size (8 or 10 frame) and click Initialize Frames.
- For each frame, rate the brood pattern from 1 (sparse/erratic) to 5 (solid/capped).
- Select honey and pollen store levels for each frame.
- Check boxes for any queen cells found and whether the queen was sighted.
- Click Assess Hive Health to get your overall score and recommendations.
A solid brood pattern indicates a healthy, laying queen. Patchy patterns may signal disease, poor queen quality, or nutritional stress. Inspect every 7-10 days during active season.
