Setup Steps

1. Prepare carrageenan size: Dissolve 30g per liter carrageenan in water cold water. Let sit 12-24 hours, stirring occasionally.
2. Prepare alum mordant: Mix 1 tbsp per cup alum in warm water until dissolved.
3. Mordant paper: Sponge alum solution onto paper. Let dry completely (1-2 hours).
4. Prepare paints: Dilute acrylic paint 1:1 with water. Each color: 5ml paint + 5ml water.
5. Apply paint: Drop 10-15 drops of each color onto the carrageenan surface. Use a stylus to create patterns.
6. Print: Gently lay mordanted paper on the surface. Lift after 5-10 seconds. Rinse gently and hang to dry.
