How to Use

1. Select your preferred unit system (metric or imperial) and bar stock type.
2. Enter the finished dimensions of your forged item — length, width, and thickness.
3. For round bar, only length and cross-section diameter are needed.
4. Set the waste percentage (default 10%) to account for scale loss and grinding.
5. Optionally enter the price per kg to calculate material cost.
6. Click Calculate to get the minimum stock size, weight, and cost.
