How to Use This Calculator

Measure foot circumference at the widest point (ball of foot) and foot length from heel to longest toe.
Choose your desired sock height — ankle, quarter, crew, mid-calf, or knee-high.
Enter your gauge from a swatch knit in the round (stitches and rows per 4 inches).
Set negative ease (typically 0.5") so the sock stretches to fit without slipping.
Click Calculate for full construction details: cast-on, heel flap, gusset, foot length, and toe shaping.

Note: These calculations assume a top-down, heel flap construction. For toe-up or other heel styles (short row, afterthought), stitch counts remain similar but construction order differs.
