How to Use

1. Enter the finished width you want after gathering (e.g., the bodice width where gathers attach).
2. Select the gather ratio — higher ratios create denser gathers.
3. Optionally enter your available fabric width to check if it is sufficient.
4. Click Calculate to see the fabric width to cut, number of gathering rows, and detailed tips.
5. Always test on scrap fabric first to check the gather density before cutting your project fabric.
