How to Use
- Enter the current hive weight from your scale reading (in pounds).
- Enter the previous reading for comparison (daily, weekly, or any interval).
- Select the current season and hive type for accurate benchmarks.
- Click Analyze Weight to see interpretation, benchmarks, and alerts.
Hive scales are one of the most valuable beekeeping tools. Weigh at the same time daily (evening is best) for consistent readings. Sudden drops may indicate robbing, swarming, or colony loss. Sudden gains during flow signal the need for more super space.
