Wine Cellar Temperature Guide
Ideal serving and storage temperatures by wine type
Cellar Storage Recommendations
Ideal storage temperature: 55°F (13°C) for long-term aging
Humidity: 60-70% RH (prevents cork drying and label damage)
Light: Store in darkness; UV light damages wine
Vibration: Minimize vibration to prevent sediment disturbance
Temperature Fluctuation Warning
Rapid temperature changes are more harmful than slightly off temperatures. Fluctuations cause cork expansion/contraction, allowing air ingress that spoils wine. Keep temperature variation under 2-3°F daily.
