How to Use

1. Enter the number of hives you plan to place.
2. Select a layout style: grid (organized), curved (arc), or scattered (natural).
3. Optionally enter available area dimensions to check fit.
4. Click Calculate Spacing to see recommended distances and a visual layout.

Proper spacing reduces drifting, robbing, and disease transmission. It also makes inspections easier and allows mower/vehicle access. Face entrances away from foot traffic and animal pastures. Check local regulations — some areas require minimum distances from property lines.
