Hot Water Warning
NEVER wear any watch in hot water (shower, bath, hot tub, sauna). Heat causes metal to expand at different rates, gaskets to soften, and creates pressure differentials that can force water past seals. This applies to ALL watches regardless of depth rating.

✗ "30m water resistant" means I can swim 30m deep
✓ 30m rating is splash-resistant only. Never swim with a 3ATM watch.
✗ Higher ATM means I can wear it in hot water
✓ NO watch should be worn in hot water. Heat degrades gaskets and creates pressure differentials.
✗ Water resistance is permanent
