Dye Lot Tips

• •Always buy all skeins from the same dye lot number at once.

• •If you must mix dye lots, alternate rows between skeins to blend the transition.

• •Store leftover yarn with the project label for future repairs.
• •Hand-dyed yarns can vary significantly even within the same batch.
• •When substituting yarns, match both yardage per skein AND weight (e.g., 50g vs 100g).
