How to Use

1. Enter the number of hives to feed.
2. Select patty size based on colony strength — larger colonies consume more.
3. Set feeding duration in weeks (typically 4-8 weeks in early spring).
4. Choose a recipe type based on budget and protein quality needs.
5. Click Calculate Ingredients to see amounts, costs, and feeding schedule.

Place patties directly on top bars above the brood cluster. Monitor consumption — if small hive beetles are present, use smaller patties and replace frequently. Stop feeding when natural pollen is abundant. Never feed pollen substitute with honey supers on.
